I think you need to stick to your 1.2's as that is the funniest thing I've ever read - Five and half grand to insure a fecking Clio. Are you completely nuts?! I guess some people need to learn the hard way but it just makes no sense. You might enjoy your car but you probably enjoy a pint now and...
Exactly. This has been going on for a long time and had to burst.
As for the Clio tax, the £400 for the 200 is laughable and defo not worth it but it's a s**t engine. Get a diesel or a bike.
I wonder if the other driver has posted similar on a Jaguar forum?
'Almost middle aged driving w*nker punched my car window'
Did the dude injure you or damage your car? No. If he drives like that all the time, his lack of attention/skill/knowledge will catch up with him. Both are in the wrong...
So it's a 'look at me' car.
Given that the love/hate for the car on this forum is pretty much 50:50, it's not that desirable in the grand scheme of things and there is only a small percentage of people who buy them for the challenge.
If people like them then that's fine but the whole, 'you...
LOL!
New V6 owner - "Just bought a new exotic car at the weekend..."
Work mate - "Really?!"
New V6 owner - "Yeah, proper rare, RWD, mid engined. Just picked it up yesterday, totally mint. Got the keys, sat in it and turned the ignition on... goose bumps, couldn't wait to get it on the road!"...
Ah, I see. Can't comment on the E-Bay chips but some of the others are good. No complaints about mine and good gains!
1.2 - eh, naw. Don't bother. Better stripping it.
Go out, drive 4 or 5 cars that you might want to try (Polo GTi, MCS, 200...) and then buy the one you like the most and can afford. Try all the cars and don't go on what people on here say. The Polo can be modded quite cheaply and will give you a lot of performance, for example.
Sell it if you can't afford it, it's just a Clio. When you are in a position to buy another car, you'll probably have moved onto something else by then anyway.
And you would have done that if it had been a D reg Micra? You're right though, it's nice to be nice but accidents happen too. I've whacked someone elses door by accident when it was really windy. I also took some paint off my door.
