    My Cup’s got a Vtec lump in it!

    Simon - I think youre right, and thats why I got mine chipped; it now pulls much better from low down, eg from 3000-5000 it car pulls like my golf vr6 used to, but then when you hit 5000 it gets louder and faster.

    What springs for a Cup

    I want to lower it 20-30mm (ie not much, but enough to stop it looking silly). I want to spend about £250 including fitting and geometry setup. Ive had eibachs on a civic vti I used to have, and they were great - any recommendations? Ill be keeping the standard shocks.

    172 rev limiter

    Yes Simon, youre right - its really annoying when youve been driving for half an hour, stop for petrol, then get back in your car and accelerate away only to bounce off the rev limiter at 6750ish, when 5 minutes earlier you could go beyond 7000 easily. The french are silly sods.
