Well if you want suggestions, I've just upgraded to a Samsung U600. It's a very attractive and easy to use phone with a 3.2 megapixel camera and micro SD slot. The pictures on websites really don't do it justice.

What speed internet connection do you have? It shouldn't be slow if you have a decent connection and pc, which you have. It's quick and smooth for me on 2Mb. You could increase your cache size in the google earth options, should make it quicker to look at things you've already looked at before.

I've read a fair few good reviews about the Orbit, so I'm surprised by your post. What makes it s**t in your opinion?

Just called them, I can have the 02 XDA Orbit + 600 mins, 1000 texts and unlimited calls on a few days a week for £35 on 18 month contract BUT I cannot have the sat nav software unless I pay £49.99. Any tips on how I could get the sat nav software free from them?

I think I'm going to try and get the XDA Orbit with CoPilot Sat Nav, would have thought it would be a free upgrade, it's only £49.99 to new customers on the tariff I'm on.

My 18 month contract is up in 2 days, does anyone know if they credit check you again if you want to start a new contract? Because I have a feeling I'd fail a fresh credit check!
