If it weren't for the diamond in the rear mirror it could be any latest generation car. I'm afraid progress has once again come up with a bigger car with even more gizmos.
Given ones car runs OK on cheaper fuel then, is it worth the extra 7p per litre in the mpg saving?
£1.06 in my local garage for V Power now... though worth every penny for my engine!
Usually use V Power, though last week I filled up at a strange garage at Heathrow and put premium in by mistake. I very quickly noticed a slight hesitancy under light throttle acceleration, and this carried on until yesterday when I ran the tank dry as possible and filled up with V Power again...
I'm sure his intention is to replace the exhaust asap, but if you are broke then this may be a quick, and at least a cheap, temporary solution.
As you say though, I wouldn't go thrashing about too much as breaks like this can just snap... then you'd be really bu****ed!
So has the claim been settled or not? I'd go back to them on this point. It sounds as if it has, in which case their response was inaccurate and not valid as an excuse to insure your new vehicle.
I wouldn't be happy with this response either. I'd tell them to cancel your current policy, ask...
I thought this thread was gonna be about Aberdeen Angus :approve:
Richard's the one in the 172 without the sweat stains under his arms then? :rasp:
:lolup::lolup::lolup:
I am really pleased with mine. Took me 10 mins to fit the first one, then 10 seconds for the second :D
A lot cheaper than a Halfrauds set and work a da*n lot better!
Ed you running a biz? ;)
I been playing with my front diamond recently. First I did a carbon fibre tape job... didn't like it, and now just finished spraying one in Ford Graphite. Now I am not too keen on that either!
I want one that matches the grille (matt black?) :D
I bought one like this a few months back.

Very pleased with it too.
I got the opposite problem over the last 2 days...
Went into a 'strange' garage and started to fill up, only to realise it was 'premium' fuel going in :dapprove:
Car doesn't seem to pull so well ATM, almost like the hand brake is half on. Can't wait to empty the tank and get some 98RON back in!
... or increase the ambient temerature setting.
Mind you the whole purpose of climate control is that it does this stuff itself. Well it does... just that when it's 30 degrees outside it'll be whacking out all it can, and that can be noisy.
