Original Equipment

Hola,

What is the Original Equipment make/ model of the 6 disc changer in the 172.

I asked mine to be boot mounted by the dealer and he has fitted a VDO Dayton CHD 602S. Obvisouly I didnt pay the full option price, but does anyone know anything about this?

well what is fitted as std sure as hell aint VDO Dayton !!!!

Thanks mate, I take it you think VDO is better than the std Alpine?

I was p*ssed off at first as I had never heard of it, but it sounds good.

VDO Dayton are made by Phillips if i remember rightly. They make some of the top sat nav systems.

My changer in my old clio was VDO an i never had a complaint!
