S3 runs a lower compression engine than the TT 225 lump, which is more effective when tuning / turbo charging. If your gonna beef the bottom end up and fit a bigger turbo it wont really make any difference - if not the S3 APY lump is the daddy - a good tuner can extract 280 bhp from one of these
