Finally after much hassel I managed to fitted my viper induction kit to the 16v:p. Its off a 172 cup and i was told by k tec that it wouldnt fit(due to it being to big). However after thinking ,long and hard, I managed to design and build(with a little help) an adaptor plate to allow the fitting...
Mine knocks like a beast lowered about 40-50mm at the back it a magnex system and its knocking on the top beam. Only way rouns it from what i can see is either raise the car or takie it to powerflow and get them to make a system that will clear it.
Got one on my 1800 16v had it fitted and set up at hillpower at the same time the injectors were cleaned and a set of magnicore leads fitted. between all these my car reved alot better was alot smoother and generally alot nicer to drive. Wether the pbv made any difference i dont no as like i say...
35mm any more and it scraps like mine .... lol.
I think mine is a 50mm drop and while it looks good the front wheels catch on the arches when turning and the back wheels scrub the top of the wheel arches also my magnex gets a beating pretty much every day.
I would say 80bhp is pushing it on an energy. 50 is more realistic. Although with a progressive controller it might be ok, costs a fair bit more for that though.
Plugs, leads ,dizzy cap and rotor arm. Engine oil and filter, gearbox oil, coolant and fuel filter. I did all this and had the injectors cleaned as well goes much better now.
