Hi guys,
Sometimes, when changing gear (mainly changing down i think) it's really hard to actually get in to gear. There is no grinding or anything. It is far worse when cold, and seems to be alright (ish) when warmed up, but still feels a little notchy.
I had the gearbox oil changed about a...
Meh, might be a wire! The bulbs go all the time in these, mine's gone but I can still see it faintly... so whether there are two bulbs, one for day and one for night, and both have yours have gone I don't know?
I had the same issues as number 1, I cleaned my TDC sensor and it's been fine ever since. Mine would fire up, then just quietly die. lol
Problem two could be as simple as a loose wire, if you mean that it's completely off/on. If it's the temp display not working I think you can get a sensor...
All just a bit confusing. Lmao
Going to see Fred in a couple of weeks anyway. I'm sure he'll tell me if it's broken.

Well I had a fluid change at Parkview in Hinckely cuz they're just down the road from work.
They are loads better now. I asked them to do a report on pads and discs. Front pads and discs are fine. But I need a new rear caliper and new rear pads.
They quoted £225 but Fred at BTM has given me...
Cool I'll give the local dealer a call.
Just been quoted £190 + vat to supply and fit by an independent garage. How's that sound?
They quoted:
£79.56 for caliper
£26.52 for pads
£3-5 for fluid top up
£80 for labour
All plus vat.

Hi guys,
Been having a few issues with brakes so took it in for a fluid change and a report on pads/discs condition.
Need new rear pads but other than that all is ok. However, the piston seal has gone on my rear drivers side caliper and it's seizing up.
Question is, does anyone know where I...
Meh!!
I kinda like it how it is, just seen loads of topics about "5k Kick" and mines at 4... lol just wanted to check all was well.
Most the time I'm rolling around at 2k - 3k anyway because I work in a town.
I'm going to look into getting an RS Tuner over Christmas as I'd like a smoother...
Hi guys,
I understand that the Variable Valve Timing is meant to kick in at about 5k??? Mine kicks in at 4k (noticeable power difference, and revs increase faster)... Whilst I don't think this is a bad thing, is this a sign of anything to worry about?
Or could it just simply mean someone's...
Hi guys,
anyone bought these? Are they anygood? And what sort of price did Ktec used to sell them for??

Dunno about hazard switch, but number plate light is pretty simple!!
The clear cover lifts off, and then if you get underneath the rear bumper you can unplug it and unclip it, I think... It's been a while since I changed mine but it took less than a minute!
Not found any oil mate so mine doesn't sound quite as serious as yours. Been trying to get hold of Fred to arrange going over on Saturday so he can have a listen but his phone number doesn't work... :-( lol
I'm not to bothered about the 182 manifolds to be honest, to much hastle imo. Just want to make sure I'm not losing power on a leaky exhaust! :-)
I'll get some gaskets from the dealers and have a look underneath see if I can sort it.
OK mixed response!! haha at least I have some serious answers this time round.
DIY job with ramps do you think? Gaskets can't be that much so get em from a stealer I imagine?
Asked this before a while ago but didn't get any serious responses...
I was told on my MOT that I have a VERY slight leak in my downpipe (section before cat if you want to call it something else!)... I'd rather get it sorted before it gets worse as I know first hand how much a leaky exhaust can...
Let me know how you get on mate, perhaps post a before and after vid too... Mine seems to have quietened down a little bit recently but still gonna get Fred to check it over.
