Here's my 8000k's. iPhone camera has made them look green :-/ lol
I'll upload a pic for you when they arrive and they're swapped.

Then I envy you for not needing to do it. Lol!
My old dears are alright tbf. Hers is a 55 plate campus, maybe they changed materials on later cars or something to prevent the whole UV damage thing.

iPhone camera mate. Doesn't really pick up all the scratches on top half of light. Was pretty poor though.
Didn't intend on taking any pics but I was so chuffed I decided to take a pic of finished product.
Well worth a go if yours need doing.

Search for headlight correction. There's a guide dude.
I'd definitely recommend getting the polishing bit for the drill. Can't feel my arms. Haha.
My mates got a polisher so I'm gonna give them a going over with that soon too.
Hey guys, decided to try and correct my headlights today as they were pretty crap!
Very pleased with the final result, can only upload one photo so may as well be the finished one.
They aren't 100% but considering they're 8 years old and I don't have a machine polisher I'm pretty chuffed!
It's weird, put in gear and it feels really spongy and just pops straight back out. Do it again straight away and it's fine.
I'm not liking the way this thread is going. Lol
Hi guys,
Doesnt happen everytime But quite annoying.
Sometimes, and only when cold, I select second gear and it feels really spongy. I let go of the gear stick and it just pops back out! 1st gear is also a pain to select when cold. All others seem ok!!
Gearbox oil changed approximately 2k...
I got mine off eBay. To replace standard bulbs which were failing.
They cost me £40 for the pair, and have always worked so they do the job. I'm going get some more expensive ones in the hope that I actually get more light, if I don't I'll be pissed... Lol.
They are bright enough but I'm...
I got some cheap D2S's off eBay and they're pretty shite!! (They are 8000k though as they're the only ones that were around that I could afford and needed them in a hurry! lol).
When I look at the amount of light that's being put out of my car, compared to others it's just pathetic... I'll...
I'd say it's probably your shock... My rears produced the exact same symptomns so worth checking those first.
Visually mine looked OK, it was only when I removed them that it became obvious they were knackered.
Clio brakes are usually s**t hot. In my old campus I used to get whiplash doing an emergency stop!!
My 172 brakes had become shite recently, had the fluid changed and they're LOADS better. Also discovered I have a knackered rear caliper so maybe worth getting someone you trust to check over...
Lmao.
I've done a few before but god knows what the previous owner did to mine. Either they have never been removed in 8 years or I need to get back down the gym.

As above really. Although just to add I bought my car with the steering wheel not straight, and I just assumed it was tracking.
However, after visiting several garages it turned out to be my rear axle bushes! Cost me £300 in total to get it diagnosed and fixed :-(
Yours sounds like tracking...
I think if you jack the back end up and spin the wheel it would give you a good idea... I don't really know though if I'm honest as I've never had one go!!
24 with 1yrs NCB was £750ish, but doubled when I had to pay monthly!! I did declare exhaust and air intake mods too. Plus mines an import (whether that makes any difference) (Bell car insurance)
My friend is 23 and has 4/5 years NCB and paid about £400 on his 172... not sure who he used.
£2800...
Standard is 4300k.
I have 8000k on mine, and I don't know whether it's because they're cheap bulbs or something, they aren't bright at all!
