Saw 2 burnt orange and a liquid yellow 182 on the road recently. Seeing them in the flesh is so much better than looking at pictures. Amazing colours.
Have to say that I prefer the burnt orange with the cup wheels. Very :cool::cool:
Had an nice E46 M3 try to cut into me as we were stuck in traffic on a roundabout. There were 2 lanes on the roundabout going into 1 on the exit. We are all taking it in turns to filter into one lane and then this tw@t decides to push in!!!!! He ended up behind me but I don't know what he wanted...
Glad you are all ok. Amazing just how strong the car is!!!!
Can't see you being done for speeding unless the police measured skids etc but they might try and do you for driving without due care and attention. A few points and a possible ban don't compare to the knowledge you have gained here...
I have had the wheels off. There looks like there is some life left in them but I do not like the feel of the brakes so am going to get the pads changed anyway. It's not that I am made of money....but this is worth doing IMO
Yes this does, thanks. I will call the garage on Monday to make sure that they order a set of pins as well.
Good news is that the disks are only 25% worn. What does a brake stripdown involve?
Went to my Renault garage to have my front pads changed. They said that the pads had 5 % life left and needed changing straight away but unfortunately had to order in the pads. They will be in on Tuesday. Normally this would not be a problem as I take the train to work. This week however I have...
Again, I can't believe what a fire I have started.
I have been thinking about all the technical posts that have been put here and wonder what you make of this:
The orginal Audi TT (without the tiny rear spoiler) lost control at high speed. Audi recified this with the small spoiler that you...
Hi and welcome to the club.
I'm from Stanmore and have a Nimbus 197. Used to go to a lot of meets around Hatfield. Glad to see there are some other members that are local. Maybe we should organise a meet :approve:
You lot are funny :D
I have 2 kids, and sold my CTR to extend the kitchen. Years of pain ensued until I could finally get back into a hot hatch. Once the 172 is gone, she will find a million reasons why you need to spend your hard earned on something else rather than getting a new car...
Is it your only car? If you can turn the airbag off on the passenger seat, the baby can go in the front and the missus in the back
Won't be long before the baby can climb in the back themselves!!!
Just before selling my Bora, I had all the disks and pads changed. I sort out the IT for my mechanic and he sorts out my car so I got him to do the job. I couldn't believe the amount of work involved. Without the specialist tools to wind back the calipers etc and the copper grease it would have...
North West London.
Don't take this the wrong way, but I would rather go with a main dealer or my mechanic. Piece of mind is worth the extra money especially as I ferry the family around.
