Hi Slugger, had a a look at Trevs magnex oval picture on the gallery ....looks nice and a good fit. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
Chris, thanks for your advice once again. Just had a another look at the K-Tec pictures that you kindly dug out for me a couple of weeks ago. Hhmmm ... that...
Cheers guys, thanks for the info. Ill have a look on the gallery and see if I can spot the oval.
Jas if you can find that power chart it would be interesting to see. I didnt really expect large power gains across the rev range. But as you say it gives you the looks and sounds .... which sould...
Try cleaning the rubber seal (easier if you can remove the glass?) thoroughly with meths then give it a good smear with Vasoline. Quite often grit and dust builds up on the seal, especially over the winter period when the sunroof is not used so often. Water then seaps in though the crap via...
.....or you could put a couple of holders on the side of the boot interior for the tyre repair foam canisters! (aka 172 Cup). That spare wheel void will give you a nice rear enclosure for a sub woofer. Just add a hole in the false floor for the tuned reflex port! The weight you gain with amps...
I currently have a K&N 57i fitted. I have been a K&N fan for several years. Like all good filter installations they need clean air feeds. At this time of year (Scottish climate) and on the open roads there is a noticable difference in 172 pickup/throttle response. It also sounds gorgeous on load...
Just had a look on the official Bosch UK website
http://www.boschautoparts.co.ukhttp://www.boschautoparts.co.uk
There is no mention of this type of wiper listed, even on there "News" section. The only wiper on there is their "Super Plus" blades. Tailored fitments of these are only for...

I would like to order a Magnex 6x4 oval cat back system for my 2002 172. However, my local Magnex dealer says the system listed (172 "00-" ) will not fit this model due to the shape of the rear valance. I noticed that Magnex have recently changed their website product listing for the 172 from...
Im due to renew the 172 Feb. So will certainly give this a try! I have a 57i kit fitted and hope to get the SS exhaust on before then (If Magnex eventually get their 2001+ cat back systems on the shelves), so will be interested to see how their modded vehicle quotes compare.

@ geordiepaul:
Just smiled m8 to the service dept girl!;) The drivers side mat went bald just under the gas pedal after 400 miles (Maybe I was pressing tooooo hard to the floor?). So they said they would replace it under warranty. Well, who am I to argue? The drivers side mat they fitted was...

Geoff,
This may be a silly idea, but could Justmatz not purchase an Executive Mat Set from their local Reno dealer and use these as their pattern/prototype? I just had a set supplied by my dealer under warranty for my 2002 172 (my original drivers side was holed after 400 miles). As they were...

Hi Gilly,
I just happened to pick up a copy of the Clio II accessories catalogue at Reno today. They are selling a fog lamp kit for £168.03 excl. fitting (Part No: 77 11 218 286)

Thanks again for everyones help on this one. Whet to Reno this morning and tracked down said sport badges (Megane Sport W/2000). For those that may be interested the part number is 7711 291 122 SPORT Badge Pack. They cost about 10 squids.
Below is a few photos of the car with badges. I decided...
These pictures/text were emailed to me by Rik .....
"Taken a couple.
One shows the new led bulbs, a must have. I have these on the indicators/reverse and stop/tail light.
Car will look better after I have lowered it 40mm.

If you take manual readings from a dipstick it should always be done on a level surface otherwise false readings can be given. The dash electronic level system is likely to give false readings too if the car is on an incline, fooling the sensor.
Thanks very much Leanne,
Ill try and get a part no from Reno for this model ;) .... or rather Ill send my wife to the Reno parts dept as penance for dentn my car door .... he he! ...LOL .... its was only an accident but she feels really guilty about it.

Does anyone know which Reno model these small Sport badges were used on. I seen them on a non-Reno modded car website, but owner never listed which Reno model they came from.

I reckon ABS is probably crap if braking whilst racing around a track. Generally, unless someone screws up in front you can normaly calculate your braking to the apex of the bends whithout locking in respect to the conditions whether dry or wet. Diving in these conditions will always "feel"...
