Nearly always use mine at the bottom end. I like taking pictures of people and they're like "You'll never get us all in! You're too close!" lol
Certainly bought for UWA stuff. Brilliant lens for the money imho.
This is 10mm @ f/8 (f/8 is the sweet spot for this lens apparently, but I only...
Of course it isn't. But I can tell you that in a straightline private runway drag from about 80 mph to 130mph bananas there's nothing in it. I couldn't pass, he couldn't pull away.
I have no reason to lie. I couldn't really give two s***s what's quicker than my car or what I'm quicker than...
Dp review pitch the 1000D against the D60. Like any of the entry level cameras of these two manufacturers, they find it hard to split them.
Go to a shop and have a play. You'll find it easier to pick on once you handle them.
Drive steady and you'll be fine.
It's a 1 gallon warning light btw, which is nearly a fivers worth of fuel.
I just wait till the light comes on then put some fuel in first chance I get. I never fill up either. It's like having an extra person in the car lol :o
It is. It's an 'over revving' warning light or " Watch out quim lips, you're going to hit the limiter" light, whichever you prefer
Certainly not an 'optimum gear change indicator"
It hasn't actually. People are (accurately) describing the functions the iPhone lacks and areas in which it could do with improvement.
The people are remarking that as they are particular features which are high on their list as must haves (camera with a flash, bluetooth, MMS etc) they do...
LOL. I 'think' I need? I think I'm perhaps best placed to be the judge of that thanks ;)
I'll agree it's an entirely personal thing. Some people say if you want to take pictures use a proper camera... some say if you want to surf the internet use a proper computer.
There's no doubt in some...
I still think it's a cracking bit of kit..... and it's a definite fashion accessory too :o
But when someone says it's "ultimatley one of the best pieces of technology on the Market today" I have to argue. Because it's just simply not. It's limited in areas it shouldn't be if that makes any sense.
No one uses MMS? Are you for real? Want me to do a poll to prove you wrong? Or do you simply wish to google 'iPhone MMS' and see how many people are after it?!
And if it's a smart phone.... well it's not very smart if you have to hack it with third party firmware to get features it should...
I've not tried to send one tbh... I think you can via a third party application now though. Althoug should you really have to hack your phone to send picture mesages and record video?! I think not.
I see you fit firmly in the fan boy camp then ;)
No MMS= Fail
s**t camera = Fail
No video = Fail
No Bluetooth = Fail
No Sat Nav = Fail
Depends what you look for in a phone I guess but the iPhone is let down in some key areas for me. It is a beautiful phone to use though.... I...
Interesting choice Scutchio. I too, contrary to the endless fanboys on here, am still not overly impressed with the iPhone.
Might have a look at one of these... but tbh.... They've not come much further than the N95 imho.
Oh my. That was epic. It was the size of a house too. Was the successor to the matirx phone iirc and was the first with scroll wheel! Mint.
My dad had the original banana Nokia slide 8110I. I wanted it so bad. lol.
I had a 6110 which had a purple/green flip. That was pretty cool. Was the first Nokia with little icons in the menu (the envelope for Texts etc) (Jack UI)
6210 was mint, and very reliable.
My favourite, simply because it was impossibly small (for it's time) and had a flip button to answer, was my old T28. Mint! :o
That's not too bad.... but I take most of my camera phone pictures in the dark i.e out on the piss lol.
I'm really undecided. I like the iPhone but I wasn't bowled over by it. Lack of video is also a down point for me personally. BUt what else is there?!
GDI did mine in less than that.... although that was a 2 man affair. They had it down to a pretty fine art tbh so I've no doubt the more you've done the easier it will become.
And Fred haz skillz tbqfh.
lol
That's a bit of a sweeping generalisation. And the D40 has no body motor thus the choice of lens is restricted somewhat in terms of autofocus.
I'd say D50 or 400D personally
What's your budget?
