I'm going to order new cup shocks and Grams springs for my 172 but have a question I want clarifying.

88k Steve, I only bought it in November but it's not as tidy as I'd like with a few dings and scratches that I didn't notice as I stupidly bought it on a wet day when it looked far more tidy. I think my only option is to make it run well whether I keep it or not
Coil changed but no difference! Not sure I've mentioned this but if I unplug any one injector when the cars running rough you can tell it goes down to three cylinders, when I plug it back in for a few seconds it runs sweet again before returning to running rough.

Well I've found the problem, although that serial number comes back as radio code 1905 I noticed there was a code written on the radio itself in faded marker.
Entered 1849 and bingo radio works, shame about the engine not playing ball

No I've not tried that, I have watched a guy on YouTube whos 172 passed the spray test and ohms but still had a faulty injector.

@bloke, retested with all plugs out and a tighter seal on the compression tester (Sykes Pikavant) and got these results -
