Day One of Wet Sanding Tuition with Kelly at KDS...

It's purely a time thing due to the caution and finesse required around the panel edges, both sanding and polishing. Kelly would do this normally and I intend to when I have more time. 3 days isn't enough for this tbh...

The bumper is split a bit, but not too bad. Kelly is going to sort it for me luckily! We still need to do the roof, boot and bumpers!! I'd say it needs 5 days to do this to an average sized car.

It sets a fixed point so that you can assess the removal rate of the paint from a fixed point. Have a look at post 12 of Day 2 and you'll see what I mean. Russ.

Definitely worth trying, but I'd suggest that you're working indoor as a minimum. Kelly's unit is very clean, with very little dirt airborne, yet you still get a load of issues with dirt landing on the panel and getting caught under the paper. You MUST be doing this in a clean environment IMO.

    Bags

Fat Max is okay, but it doesn't have a flat bottom so can be annoying, depending on what you carry The Green Dodo bag, linked by James is ideal for detailing stuff IMO, I have a couple of them

That K3 you linked is an X Series PW - you can tell from the X design on the body. DEFO go for that over a C110.

    Soul, Passion or Spirit?

Rejuvenate would be fine tbh, as would a normal foam app and MF's, depends how flush you feel I suppose :) JD - working most of it :( Just the Bank Holidays I'm free. I have 2 cars this weekend, and 2 cars next. Russ.

Tbh, lots of Nilfisks are now failing on users from DW, so they seem to be just as bad as the cheaper Karchers. I would also suggest you look at the Karcher Outlet, and get something like X5.700, or another of the "X" series (there's a cheaper one too) Whichever you get, just don't let the...
