I've been looking forward to doing one of these amazing cars for a while now as it's a personal favourite of mine and something I'd love to own within the next year or so, so getting to detail one was a true pleasure.
This particular GTR has been extensively modified, and is running around the...
I've been looking forward to this one for a while - ever since I met the owner late last year at a photoshoot.
This beast is running about 380bhp and is in superb condition, but was suffering from severe fallout and quite a lot of swirling and hologramming so it was booked in for an MCC Single...
It's about the best of the 'non semi permanent' dressing IMO but it doesn't like some plastics. I've had a good 2-3 months on my Golf from it.
Thanks all :)
Lol!!! She's even doing her own write up for the Mini Forum!! She's not a bad catch!
Yep IronX you just spray on, leave for 5-10 mins to do its thing then rinse. There's a new improved version which smells like cherries and not an eggy fart which is out now too!
Miss MCC (Milly) recently bought a new car - a Mini Cooper in Pepper White with Chilli Pack. The car is in decent condition but the paintwork needed a bit of love so we spent today giving it a quick clean up and some protection...

Thinking of selling my Crystal Rock and getting Carbon, Glasur and Concours as my main waxes.
Nobody seems very interested in boutique waxes anymore, and tbh Glasur is 99% as good as most of them anyway!
That Liquid Yellow bonnet I'd class as medium-hard, which surprised me too!
As for the MF system, it does have it's place but on softer paints the removal rate can be rather aggressive. People fool themselves into thinking its a safe way to easy correction, which it is in terms of not burning...
Cheers :) I'm aiming to be affordable enough for people to justify over less experienced 'weekend warriors' and a lot cheaper than some of the 'Pros'. I guess I want to be the obvious person to go to in the Mids, although most of my customers seem to be much further out!
A couple of months at...
Yeah I know, it's gone mental! Feb looks like: UG Focus RS, EO Focus ST, Panther Black Focus ST500, Silver S3, Ultra Blue R26, White 3dr Sierra Cossie and a full correction and wet sanding on a White Edition 30 GTI!
Then I need to squeeze in a Steel Grey GTR, a grey Meg 250 and a white Corsa...
I'm afraid not Jon :( I'm waiting for Auto Finesse's web guys to finish it for me... should be sweet when it's done!!
Basically - £99 protection, £159 enhancement (1 day), £279 correction (2 days).
I'm already fully booked until April and have startred eating into my annual leave to fit...
and finally, some afters. I've somehow managed to turn it into Electric Orange.... :doublesho:lol:

It's getting mightily chilly out there! It was only 2 degrees this morning!
Today's car was a rather lovely Red Ford Focus ST3, which has been treated to a bit of Mountune love. It was also the owners Birthday today, so I was keen to pull out all the stops to make sure the detail helped...
I still love it. Part time only and its staying that way. I work on around £150-200 per day based on the car, but obviously have to take out rent, rates, product costs etc so don't make a great deal.
I am booked up fully for Jan (lol) and all of Feb and about 2/3's of March already though!
I'm only a posh weekend warrior!!
Happy to quote you too, but RDH Jim is very close to you! :)
George, I do an enhancement detail in a Clio sized car for around £150 and have a secluded, fully insured unit in Walsall, but I'm a short trip down the motorway away from you - Walsall, WS2.
Today saw me breathe a bit of life back into a stunning Daytona Grey Audi TTRS.
This particular TTRS is in fact Milltek's ex-Demo Car, as seen in this vid:
Audi TT RS with Milltek Sport Racing Exhaust System - YouTube
The owner picked this up from a TT Specialist a couple of weeks ago...
Forgive me, for I have sinned!
I've not touched my car since my time down with Kelly@KDS in December, and it was looking a little sorry for itself so I spent today giving it a bit of love and adding some protection to it.

True but James knows what he is doing. Also you said yourself that Zymol hasn't changed a thing for years. Things do move on in terms of improvements in blending techniques, solvents etc. z in particular could do with launching something new apart from a new overpriced wheel brush.
