Its because they all listen to each other and think the person before was correct, When in reality they've probrably never removed a bloody bolt on their car so wouldnt have the faintest idea :S
For the bolt at the back try a hammer with a punch to knock it round and out
If you think youve got air in the ABS pump, With the pressure bleeder on, Slacen the union on the pump off just enough to allow fluid to escape, Should bring the air too
Its not fitted right which is why it hangs low, Its all on the piss!
Slacken the clamp off push the cat up and retighten and it'l be better, It'l be stressing the centre hanger, Mine saggs now and looks similar not quite as bad though, It needs a new hanger and a bit of a tweak
I'd rag the corrosion off with 180 grit possibly down to 80 if its really bad
then work up 320, 500 onto 1000 etc
When you start getting up to 1500 stick the wheel on the front of the car with the car on axle stands and run the engine in gear, just keep the wheel wet and use wet and dry paper...
Yeah i'm on there too used to have a 6 about 3 years ago. I remember seeing the Rallye once in Harrogate when Al had it, It was very tidy.
Fox is the lad with the 205 isnt he? Still havent seen it since you sold it either, I'm guessing it must be in storage somewhere.
Pretty sure Al was on...
Look like they've been soldered together you are right there should be a block, Undo the battery and leave it half hour or so, Then snip them and resolder them back in with your new seats
Should have kept the *cough* Rallye *cough*
:D
Who owns the Rallye now, Plate always reminds me of Stillys although i can never remember his either lol
You going to use it on track? If not i'd recomend the mintex for fast road, and they're half the price of the Ferodos, I think mine were £~60 delivered from Kam racing! Braided lines are so overrated too IMO :o
THIS, You'l want a spot weld drill bit to remove it unless you want loads of holes in your floor!
and its most probrably bonded on too, I'd be surprised if it is'nt.
Ive got HCs on mine with mintex 1144s, Good initial bite from cold, Once a bit warmer though i find coming up to junctions i have to ease off the brake pedal a bit as they bite more lol.
Give a bit of squeal too, However i only greased the backs of the pads and didnt fit the rubber backing!
Just use acid Get down to your local polish wash and ask for some neat sprayed on and agitate it there, Your wheels will clean in no time.
I took my old ones into work and used some of the wheel acid there, Fook me its evil but it bloody works :o
