How the hell are you meant to do it? I've just took a gander because mines gone and got wet through and bloody cold in the process, I got as far as removing the inlet and a heatshield bolt lol
I'm assuming you get at it from the top?
What do i need to remove to get at it and remove it?
Thanks
Just had this happen today :( I have noticed and so had my Dad lol the block paving has been getting stained, I didnt think anything of if as i'd only changed the filter a few days prior and assumed it was off the block.
Got Vibratechnic mounts on it at the weekend, Initially i thought this was...
Back right down and about 60mm on the front with no scrubbing thats on standard wheels, Aftermarket (ET37 7" 16s") on mine same but expect it to scrub on a quick drive on bumpy roads :o
Whats the lifetime on the Rs2s like? I've still got to replace two of my PE2s after 2 years :o The other two are holding out well too and theyre easy a year and half old, Got about 20k on one pair :)
Local one near me managed to put a dint in my bonnet near the centre line, Only somehow they managed to dint it pretty much halfway up the bonnet, So if you inmagine from the front of the car theres a foot of dents not small either :(

Thats the first thing i noticed when i saw you pictures, The twisted one has an offset bush on one end to keep the dogbone inline, which i'm wondering how to overcome, All i can think of at the min is an Ali spacer so it'd work, but then i dont want to stress anything But been rose jointed i...
Obviously it could be done, I've got a powerflex one on mine at the minute along vibratechnics engine mounts, It feels noice :D
I could see when i took a look at my dogbone mount, because my oldengine mounts were weellll shagged. Its took a lot of abuse and the bush was looking slightly...

Dont bother with the braided lines unless you feel you really need them or standard lines are looking perished!
IMO depends how its done ie not a rattle can job lol, Got a set of 182 cup wheels 4 years old that were painted still pretty mint bar the 2 or 3 stonechips on the rears
Nope, Are you heavy on the brakes? My brakes were like that when i bought mine i'm guessing a steady driver before me, I stripped everything and regreased it all fitted new brakes, 2 years on they're still doing a clean sweep, They've come to the end of their life now, Well the disks have still...
Up to you, I toyed with the idea but the damping rates will be different between shocks for the different Chassis and engine combos!
If i was to do it i'd do as you've said, and weld the washer to the strut, but if your innacurate lengthening the hole you'l have issues later when you get it aligned
cue pm, I want head, you have nice lips yadda yadda ;)
£200 sheets is pricey though, Are they removing the roll bar too, I'd be thinking they would at that price!!!!
