Yup, its a good system for the money. I believe they have redesigned the mounts & a few other bits recently as the last one we fitted went on a treat.

Leak down, not compression; it was actually Henk who suggested it with one of our cars, far more precise than a compression test. As already highlighted, the RR facility you are using - what sort of environmental compensation does it use, if any? and have you used the facility in very differing...

Which cams out of interest? For starters I'd carry out a leak-down test & check all the the ignition parts.

Proper cut setup, or a pure MS aircon removal kit with a standard alternator required. Any ideas why the Alternators are being eaten alive?

The software doesn't know what gear you are in? Also the drag coefficient seems vastly different. I think its safe to assume your doing it wrong ;)

Surely there are ways of pulling some weight of them behind the scenes? I do love these, not for the pace as I regard them as slow, more of a complete package I think. I also much prefer this shape over the new ones.

yeah, we never change it unless it's on it's way out or the customer specifically requests it. We have only ever experienced one car that needed another cambelt service post dephaser fail, and we sorted the chap out with a good price.
