I ve now had my Bosch super four pluggs in for about 10 000 miles is it time to change? They are good pluggs but anyone else got a view on what i should use?
I think its time cus my car seems to slightly juder/hessitate when cold(automatic choke on) and I have to boot it a bit to stop it...
Hi ben I also have a 1.4 with de cat and a full powerflow exhaust system I was thinking about a manifold but though the supersprint manifolds were like £280.
You say they are £130? from where.
I would rather get the manifold before i chip my car so that it can be set to that as well.
cheers m8
Ben what were u doing?
I have just changed mine elf 75/80 £13 for 3.4 litres.
the hole job took me 15mins
the refil took about 2mins just used a funnel.
I recon I could just about afford one however I no where I am with my car i.e. any problems have been ironed out and I am happy with my rt for the time being.
Well hold on a min m8.
I have both a hillpower induction kit and a moded airbox with k&n element inside but I still recon the induction kit is better, better sound looks a million times better and with a good cold air feed works well.
Although the airbox does seem better on the motorway when...
just keep checking and making sure they are torqued up but you will need to replace them as they are stretch bolts.
Best bet would be to ring around and do it in one go probably save a lot of hassel.
First of all get the wing mirrors etc done when your arches are done.
Second of all I would lower your car first then a back box.
As for the induction kit I would gut the airbox and get a k&n pannel filter in there.
Either that or save for a hillpower induction kit as they are much better.
Powerflow do a tail pipe like the one you have described.
Best bet would be to give them a ring to see what they quote you.
This is the number for the head office so they can advise you on your nearest dealer: 01392 203050.
p.s dont use any bid city tyre dealer ships.
payed 240 for a cat back stainless steel system with a 4" tailpipe.
Yes it should free a couple of horses up.
A cat back system and induction kit(hillpower) should free up around another 5bhp on a 1400.
Take it to a powerflow dealer they can do what ever you want. You choose the tail pipe, sound etc.
As for a cat replacement pipe hillpower do one for the 1400.
dtwd
well its had the rebuilt head which is modified.
powerflow cat back exhaust system
hillpower induction kit
hillpower cat replacement pipe
ecotek valve
splitfire leads on bosch super four spark pluggs.
Next is a hillpower chip and I hope to be seeing around 90-95bhp when thats done.
Well it was fully rebuilt but then modified slightly, the valve seat angles were changed and I think a few other "known" restricted areas where worked on.
cost 640 I think but the job was first class.
p.s mines a 1400, its just that well it could be 200bhp if I went mad on it ..lol.
