i am 19 with no yrs no claims only thing that wasnt correct is i put that i have a full license which i dont . it was on my motor quote i can get it for £1230 third party fire and theft . and beleive it or not 1600 third party for a clio v6 on a 54 plate i think it was. But fully comp i cant...
nice 1 clios are nice car hope you enjoy yours when you get it . i just need to get another job get test passed . dont know what mine would be worth if i was to sell it to buy a 172 though.
nice 1 . yeh thats what i have been thinking dont want to spend to much or a car that isnt worth much . i can get insured on a 172 for 1750 fully comp so not need to worry about no claims . mite just be worth selling van and buying a 172 then no need to declare everything and bump up insurance...
i must say i prefer the old wheels a lot more just in process of refurbing them but really want 16's . they shoudnt need spacers now as it has full 172 suspension on front end with brakes so fill arches better need more recent photo's really. it started of as a clio 565 ( dci 65 van ) and has...

id leave to to some one who knows what they are doing . i have seen some right bad looking home repairs on cars , if your still bothered and cant afford bodyshop prices then i would just try touching up the marks with a pen from halfrauds etc .
i would go for the volvo its a bit heavier but its already done so no need to buy a expensive turbo kit and fit it them remap etc . have a look on clio williams forum think few people have done it . Matt
u may need pocketed pistons but depends on the profiles . the best people to ask would be the sellers. and you will need a map and some vernier pullies to get everything set bang on.
i owuldnt bother with a full exhaust system just the back box because the centre section has no silencers in it anyway and the bore is plenty big enough.
put a 2.5 inch back box on and it should sound a bit better. As for induction kit either that or a k&n panel filter maybe better as you wont get heat soak.
do you know how to remove the actual face of the steering wheel ? if so then undo the torx bolt untill its nearly all the way out the hit the torx bolt with a hammer untill the steering column drops away from thesteering wheel slightly then finish undoing the torx bolt and the steering wheel...
not sure if there is 1 but there easy to do but when putting your new boss on some of the splines are like doubles so you can only put it on the right way . if ithe boss doesnt slide back onto the shaft fairly easily then something isnt lined up right.
if you are having sport hubs your drive shafts wont fit in sport shafts are thicker . so u mite be aswell to stick some sport wishbones and brakes on while your at it . gives you a wider track aswell .
i have stripped the material of my front door cards as i wanted them smooth . It takes hours to do as its some kinds really strong glue but a few hours on eack door card with a stanley knife balde should sort it . other wise mine are for sale already stripped and ready for fabric/paint.
dont think you will be able to buy them and get them fitted for just 100 quid . you will be lookin to spend 70ish min on some springs and then about 60+ for fitting . best bet would be buy soem used springs and find some 1 local to you that will fit em for a few beers or somat
