are you paintin it all the same colour ?
if so depends on damage, or if its all been sanded down and everypanel fully repainted you will probs need 2litre ish to get a good over on it .
depends what process your using really , personally i would buzz all the chips with a DA sander with P80 grit then quickly smooth over with p400 then 2pac prime it all .
or if you rfilling them in with paint and flatting then 2000 grade sandpaper would be best .
that only applies to factories and bodyshops , its no longer aloud to be used on plg vehicles but is ok on vans lorries etc etc . its still available to buy though
you probs havnt put enough laquer on it mate it will be all dry and have similar feel to the 1500. next time put more laquer on on each coat then it should be shiny as normal . you could either flat it back gently untill the laquer has gone totally dull and feels smooth then use a cutting...
if you are as you say clueless about bodywork mate i would have it painted properly probs cost 130 ish but would be a good job and would not look bodged etc
i was interested in this also , someone made a thread not to long ago saying they bought everything to do it . think you need a obd2 to serial cable thhen a serial to usb cable and the software loaded .
if you cant tell were its been repared i must of been a decent ish job. if the pirce is a bit lower than normal i woudl go for it nothing wrong with 90% of cat d/c writeoffs .

few people asked if its a v6 lol . it is a 2 seater tho and when they looked through the front windows it had the very large parcel shelf thingy on which does like abit like the v6's engine cover . its a van btw
it happens all the time take the rubber seals of the back turn the lights on and put strips of maskin tape over the lenses so they are completly covered . the maskin tape will hold the heat in with your lights on and the steam will evapourate out the back of the lights .
it looks s**t without it tbh . i f i do get 172 engine then its stripped and buckets and omp steering wheels back in . but if it stays as a dci mite aswell leave it in
how experienced are you with it mate ? cos its not just putting the filler on there there is also gettin it smooth afterwords it looks alot easier to do than it is , it takes along time to master it .
make sure you key the bumper up fully so your filler sticks .
then you want to flat it with...
