They share the same tread pattern but use a different compound, and the AD08R is the replacement for the outgoing AD08, is what I've been led to believe.

Can anyone suggest a good pub for a meet in the Gaydon / Leamington / Stratford-upon-Avon area? The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon is an option but they might not be able to cater for us if everyone won't commit to paying the £12 museum entrance fee. The pub needs to have a decent sized car...

Arranging somewhere for ~100 cars to meet and convoy in together will be a logistical nightmare so as Bobby said, just tag onto one of the regional convoys - there must be a few coming from Wales you can hook up with.

Spotted today (Monday 15 July) at around 2pm. You were heading towards the M4 Hungerford junction having come from the Newbury/Great Shefford direction. The sun was shining and your car looked stunning. LY has always been a bit marmite for me but it looked sublime.
