A set of R1-Rs (195/50/15) can be had for £292 (delivered), which seems pretty good value but how many miles do people expect the R1-R to last, given mainly road driving and 1-2 trackdays per year?
Comparable to the Yokohama AD08 (which Mark says are good for 13,000 in his experience), or...
Hi mate,
What's wrong with yours and why does it need improving? If nothing needs doing then you'd be better off saving the money and spending it on trackdays, driving tuition & fuel.
If on the other hand you just want to throw some money at the T then there are literally hundreds of things...
I'm having the Trophy detailed shortly and was thinking maybe CQuartz Finest. Are there any reliability issues or is it a truly premium product that should be used, no questions asked?
The alternative option I've narrowed it down to is CQUK. Is Finest worth the premium or does CQUK represent...
How easy is it to remove original decals from a brand new set of either white or anthracite 2118s, and what product(s) would you use?
I don't want to damage the wheels in any way but blue simply doesn't go with Capsicum so the graphics would need replacing, if I decide to go down the 2118...

I did indeed, Rich, but I'd also like to read Chip's findings, which I'm searching for as I type... I assume they were changed on Lesley's RS2'd 172, but time will tell...
I've done some searching but it doesn't appear that anyone has yet switched from Sportlines to Cooksport springs, is that right?
I'm after a direct comparison of drop (with pictures) & performance characteristics.

Definitely going (number 11 on the FCS thread list), and if there's another chance of riding shotgun Chris, I'd love to have another few laps!
Apparently camping is all sold out but I'm looking at alternative options given we have a rather large tent...
What an absolutely bloody fantastic weekend that was!!!
Team Anorak's Le Mans debut went extremely well. It's a shame we were a man down from the off but on the plus side the tent was far better than I expected and a special mention must go to Squadron Leader Paul "Gorminator" Gorms for the...
