Spolier would be next on my list. I had a leak that was filling the spare wheel well and it eventually turned out to be water getting under the boot seal that was causing it. So I siliconed the whole boot seal to the car and it hasn't leaked since.
My Gf's on mine because she brought my policy down by £150 for some odd reason! She doesn't really like driving it though as the controls are heavy compared to her mini!
As far as I am aware they are fully legal as an aftermarket modification providing you have projector lenses. If they come with the car from the factory then they need to be auto leveling etc.
Mine went through the MOT fine.
Ive never done the cambelt so I couldn't comment.
The auxilery belt isn't difficult its just a fidely and time consuming job. However when I did mine I had to change the tensioner and pulley wheel.
Basically its all about improving access to the belt. I personally removed the front bumper...
It autotightens. If possible check the history. Sounds like it definately needs the aux belt swapping even if its been done. I wouldn't be happy with a fraying belt being on there. If your half competant with a spanner then its not too bad a job to do yourself.
Well the scuttle drain pipes were fine. So I scratched my head for a while and then stood by the car with the hose for 5 minutes. Water then started to pour in from under the plastic covering the inside of the skirt. So I pulled the cover off and noticed an oval gromit which I pulled off and saw...
On the way home today I noticed that my drivers mat and the carpet are soaked. When I got back the carpet came up and the yellow soundproofing underneath is like a wet sponge!
First thing I did was check the door seals which seemed fine so out come the hose! I sprayed the water in every...
Well done for ammitting you were driving like a c**k, but give yourself a punch in the face for doing it while others were in the car.
If your going to go for it, then the roads need to be empty and so does your car. That way if you mess up chances are your not going to be responsible for...
Mines worth more to me then it would be to sell it. I dont think I could get rid of it now anyway. When its no longer my daily driver it will live the remainder of its life as a road going trackcar!
Sorry to be a geek but moving air is just as hot as the same air if it was still.
The air will only change temperature if it moves over something hot or something cool. As an example office fans are useless as all they are doing is moving hot air around the room. In a closed room a fan would...
If your going to get the filter anyway then get it before the service and get them to fit it instead of the paper one. Make sure they knock off the price of a new filter from the service cost though!
If the plugs are fine then changing them wont make it run healthier.
Along the same lines if the cars had a service recently then changing the air filter wont help.
The only benefit of the foam filter is that it is reusable. If you still want to change the plugs then stick to the OEM ones...
I expect no one has answered as:
1) They have no idea what your previous question was
2) Most will have no idea if its easy to replace
I can't actually answer your question because of both of the above but be patient and someone with some knowledge will be along! If not it might be worth...
Yeah you will need to drill some holes about half the width of whatever self tappers you use. I fitted the megane splitter to the car and then very carefully trimmed it with my dremal.
