I read that yesterday and they didnt like the CTR did they! Its had quite a lot of criticism for its handling. I know the Focus has its power restricted for 1st and maybe 2nd gear to help traction and torque steer.

Beware of power claims - especially ones like this! Some of the guys on here will know what that mods are likely to give a valver. I dont think its 150bhp tho. If hes had it Rolling roaded then fair enough! The problem usually is the people selling these mods (chips etc.) to Joe Bloggs tell...

Well I spoke to hime yesterday about this - we had covered most of our miles at around 50-60 mph and he got 23mpg - this was under 3,000 rpm the whole way. He did say what other owners were getting but I can remember!

Normal Turbo, never driven a WRX STI. His was a Classic shaped W reg with 218bhp . Its hard to explane really as the Scoob is awesome but the RX seems to give loads of feel and seems better fun. Mind you I find my Willie better fun than the scoob by a long way - the scoob is too composed maybe...

I see on average about 6 Scoob Turbos a day and maybe 1 172 every 2 days.

I would never been seen dead in it with that colour scheme but I think it looks very cool. I hate virtually anything other than std normally - the std 206 is very boring too look at.

Tesco have been cheapest for me on my last 2 cars. Before that was Hyperformance and before that was Admiral. It seems to change most years but all the info (age, car etc.) means they can be quite different for everyone. I usually call at least 10 each year!!

I have the autocar test where the Willie got 7.7 to 60 and it was Done in the Wet!! The car did 30-70 in 6.9secs and was a new car needing run in. Autocar say both the things gave what they thought was a highish 0-60 figure. The Corrados are gorgeous but got discontinued according to a VW mag...
