Proably best not to go for more that 16" wheels mate. Personally I would go with 15" wheels but anything above 16" really will kill the limited power you have.

I'm not totally sure as I've not experienced it when driving but it sounds slightly like the car revving could be due to the clutch slipping. I'd wait for someone else to confirm this though.

damn, I was hoping I wouldn't have to drop the subframe. Is it reasonably easy to drop the subframe? And also, what do you mean by 5th speed cover? Is that the bit at the very end of the gearbox?

Do you just mean removing the driveshafts from the hubs and leaving them connected to the box? I hadn't thought of doing that - I was thinking of removing the driveshafts from the box itself.

not overly keen on the kit but the car looks in mint condition. Really like the interior though from what can be seen. If you lost the spoiler I think it would make the car look loads better. Clearly a lot has been put into the car.

I don't know mate - the radio is sitting next to me at the PC at the moment. I'll put it back in the car tomorrow and let you know what happens. As with you I found that the time you had to wait increased until the point at which it just wouldn't let me put the code in.

I suppose mine could be the same as yours - i'm not too sure though as there have been four or five owners before me. I've had it out of the car for the last week or so because it wasn't even letting me try and enter the code at all as I had tried that many times LOL.

yup, lower it mate and it will look great. Mine is exactly the same height as I just haven't had any time to fit the lowering springs I have and I hate driving wiht it so high. Hoping to get it done in a couple of weeks though.

fcuk! Is there no way to get the code for it? there is a four digit number printed on a sticker on the back of the radio but that doesn't seem to work either. How do you confirm the number once you have entered the four digits? I had just been entering the number using buttons 1,2,3 and 4...

I was just wondering who on here would be able to get the radio code for the radio in my clio? I don't really want to go to renault as the radio is pretty crap and I'll be getting a new headunit soon (christmas I hope ;)) so don't want to waste my money. I tried the code in the service book...
