I want to hook up my PS2 in the car, what inverter do I need ? Maplin are doing a special offer on a 300W 12V Inverter, will this be ok ?

;) I already have a screen mate, it is a standalone as I didnt want an in-dash screen. Will be using it to hook up my PS2. I got it cheap as I didnt want to spend loads.

Thanks for that mate, you have been a big help. One last question, how hard is it to wire the screen to the existing loom/ignition live wire ? Will try and sort something out this weekend if I can, will get some pics up.

Cheers AdzC, can you explain to me what was plugged in where ? The inverter was plugged into the ciggie lighter and then the PS2 into the inverter ?

Sorry, just seen this, didnt think anyone was going to reply. I have a TFT monitor which has a cigarette lighter power cable and also a normal 240V power supply too. I then have my unmodified PS2 which obviously runs off the 240V power supply too. What I was going to do is plug the inverter...

FINALLY DONE IT ! Had to take the fuse box cover off and then it was fairly straightforward ! Sacrificed the skin on my hands in the process tho but the outcome I suppose is worth it.......... JUST ! Photos up later.

That side took me about 30 seconds to do ! The passenger side turns to a point where it stops, never to be turned again ! FOOKING HELL ! Can I take the headlight out just enought to change the bulb or is that a no no ?

I cant sell ASAP, I am taking the car to Spa and the ring in September. I have sold a 172 before on Auto Trader so I am not worried. I would be in no rush to sell so there is no pressure.

I just use the cheapest stuff unless I am doing a trackday or 1/4 miling which is not very often.
