Yip, I changed from Tesco to Privilege last month as they were around £200 cheaper ! Paying around £600 for an 02 172, very happy. They are a big company and very reputable. I am pretty sure they have the same underwriters as Tesco and Direct Line.
As for adding people to your policy, as...
That is what I had in my mind was the new Clio so it has to go before then.
I was swaying towards what you said to be honest. Cheers mate.
How much should it be worth next year do you think ? Anyone ? Should have around 22000-25000 miles on the clock by then, 02 plate.
Going to Australia and visiting other parts of the world on the way in February and then the plan is to emmigrate towards the end of next year or start of 2006 if we like what we see so the car is going to have to go.
When should I sell it ? Obviously I want to get the best price I can so the...
How many amps can I safely put through the cigarette lighter ? I was gong to connect an inverter to the cigarette lighter and then connect a PS2 and TFT Monitor to it, will this be ok ?
If not, how else can I connect all this up ?
Cheers...........

You can take off all the dirt and muck off patios and driveways with these pressure washers. Try using a normal hosepipe and then use this and see the difference. Just dont use the pressure washer too close to the paintwork, we all know how thin the Renault paint is anyway !
Yeah they are very good, just dont hold it too close to the paintwork ! LOL ! Have you seen what these will do to the crap on your driveway or patio !?!??!?
I have the same options for my MKII 172, I am going to mount it over the air blowers on a removable bracket. Out of sight and the perfect viewing angle for front and rear passengers IMHO.
Are these inverters any good ? What is the difference between these and the True Sine Wave Inverters ?

I personally prefer newer cars which is why I have a 172. If I wanted an older car I would have bought the Williams. I am very happy with the decision I made and I would make the same choice now.
There is not a definitive answer to this question as it is based on peoples opinions which will...
Not an option mate, I already have a screen and dont want to change the standard install. I only want to connect a PS2 or Xbox to it, no Car PC needed here !
1.6, that looks great mate, given me a few ideas. I know where I want to mount it and it will be out of the way too, just have to make...
If you have, can you post up some pics of where you mounted it please ? I need some ideas.
Also, does anybody know anywhere where they would build a custom bracket for you to your specification ? Is this costly ?
That is what I am thinking now ! Looks like I will have to lose my autochanger tho which is not ideal but then if I have an MP3 head unit I can store all the CDs on 1 CD then !
It is looking the best option TBH, just have to find the right head unit which doesnt stand out too much.
Found a...
Anybody have any opinions on this head unit ?

I want to try and have no visible wires or as little as possible. Will they run down through the air vents ?
Also, what is the best way to connect the inverter to the power supply ? Splice into the cigarette lighter power ?
Can someone give me a quick DIY guide or post a link where I can...
Still thinking of the best way to install this, will it be easy enough to do myself with the help of my father or shall I get the professionals to do it ?
I suppose I could get a headunit which supported MP3s which would do away with the need for a autochanger anyway ? I would like to keep the autochanger if possible tho but I cant see it working with other makes ?
I didnt mean I could buy a head unit for £70-£80 but it would go a good way towards buying one.
The problem is that I have the standard head unit and cd autochanger which I dont really want to replace at the moment unless I could get a head unit to work with the exisiting autochanger ? Is...
