use a welding torch m8.. costs nothing.. any height ya want.. just heat the bottom of the coil as it starts to rise and it will sag under its own weight..

172rob m8... the 172 braking system is superb.. outa the box.. if there is nothing wrong with the braking system on your car.. then you are simply braking too late for the chassis mass and suspension / tyres..
there ya go... all a bigger or better set will do for you is lock the wheels...
I keep seeing people here go on a bout shock absorbers as if they are some kind of tuning add on or tweak... huh ???.... they wont do ANYTHING for ya unles either your old ones were knackered, or you have lowered the car and the old one is binding....

coil overs are an interring item..
the first thing is WHY ???...
there is only ONE main reason for coil overs - to allow std size race springs to be used... but, this doesnt apply to a road car.... so.. the other one is simply to allow adjustment... of height.... but once you set it, itrs...
first you gotta ask if its even necessary ???.
the highest powered 172s at the rr day recently didnt have decats...
