As your car is putting out nearly 190bhp atf / aprox 160bhp atw then I assume it has internal work done? If that is the case then a custom calibration or a rolling road calibration would be the best value for money, both of which need the car & ECU together to tailor the map correctly.

If you are going to look into the ph1 head (which does indeed have larger exhaust ports) I would look at some other options too to help justify the cost, no reason why you can't squeeze more output from her for good £ spent :)

I see your point, but I think you'd also roffle at the price this sort of fab work would cost, it would probably render ITBs as a borderline Justifiable upgrade, to a totally bonkers figure for the gains!
It is very innovative though :)
