    Fitting matched inlets

Not complicated at all, injectors are very simple, just take your time and make sure you pay attention to where everything went, and make sure it goes back there. Hardest part is removing & refitting the lower due to the inaccessibility of a few of the bolts, the upper is dead easy. Oh and you...

EA French car rolling road day

No mate, never been to a EA meet although I should. Live in west London these days (were we are based) and drive a black 182.

New Type Of Coilovers Just Arrived - Testing Ahead!

Just leave them be mate. They will do what it says on the tin end of, and for how long... who knows... but for that price does it even matter. No one should start hassling K-tec or any other company for that matter, they don't need to justify anything. They are not a charity and re-branding...

    Cam Time!

this. Some of the cams we have been working with lift the torque figure from as low as 3k by 15+ lb/ft, and then the peak figure by around 5-6 lb/ft. What that gives you is a very quick car with excellent power delivery. No need to chase the limiter to screw every ounce of go from the car.

any1 local have alook at my engine - it dont sound right

opps. They will have replaced the oil. You wouldn't have got 100 meters down the road without it. Its just made its way out since.

any1 local have alook at my engine - it dont sound right

Lamba sensor won't make a blind bit of difference to a 'tapping' engine. Sounds suspiciously like oil starvation to me, IIRC your old engine was a gonna due to low oil yes? I would check the dipstick if I was you. DP pulley is also a likely cause.

    Staines Meet Thurday 28th January

Yeah, they have been a bit thin on the ground over christmas as we have all been away etc, but they are back in full swing now and Mr Stone my partner (not that type) always sends out reminder PMs. You usually get to see some interesting clio tuning bits and bobs too that we are developing on...

    pops and bangs

Not that simple, there is a fuel cut off feature that inhibits fueling once you lift off the throttle, no amount of timing can really get round this.

    Surrey Rolling road results

AFR is measured at the exhaust on these runs, its measurement below 3k can be basically ignored as it does not have the means to take accurate measurements.

Nicks 172 Cup From The Start!

Sure mate, always enjoyed working with your car as it is one of the most potent basically modified PH2s we know of!

Had the 172'd mk1 RR'd today... do these AFR figures look right?

I wondered if that could have been an issue... you had almost exactly the same result as car where the solenoid had packed up on the same rollers last year.

    clio 200 rolling road result

Good result, looses seem a little high, 156 ATW would usually equate to nearly 190 ATF (but that's the joy of ATF figures, everyone calculates them differently :dapprove:) Either way that engine WILL wake up as you get the miles on it. I saw a 200 yesterday get 192 which is about right. 200 is...
