I know - After doing 8 coats my eyes cannot adjust ... everything is now red! I used some red caliper paint that I used to touch up the missus' 4 pots last summer. Here's the cover:- Time to down some beer!

Which Engine Bay Colour Coding? Pics

Yozzasport fitted an extra large CAF made of very thick material so doesnt suffer from heatsoak - although there is no way in the world I could get it down behind the headlight - It was just too thick ;) So the rail was removed and it was run infront of the engine with a U bend at the end for...

Which Engine Bay Colour Coding? Pics

Dont know which one to go for..... .... I like the red on the plenum [like my CTR] - but also like the red cover. Also what do you need to use to paint the plenum? will normal primer and paint suffice? Have to do a search on how to remove it now ;) :)

FAO Fred and co. Moving battery to boot...

Ha! That was the case..... .... I can vouch that Yozzasport looks after your pride and joy like it was their own baby, the attention to detail was a refreshing change. Eventhough I just said sort it - Yoz rang me up everytime something needed doing, or he had just finished a job and wanted...

OK, I give up. Coilovers...enlighten me?

That was not directed at you Ben...... Its the impression I got from others when I first joined on here deciding whether or not to buy a 172 to track and what parts to buy. In my posts and blog enteries I have only posted information on my experiences, I cannot comment on things I havent...

My VX220 was ITGs test development car the the Maxogen for the VX - it saw 10bhp on the RR before and after.

OK, I give up. Coilovers...enlighten me?

Thats why they cost almost the same as HRs and were used std on Lotus etc. They are also the weapon of choice for the avid 205 GTI track day users. Horses for courses IMO. Before listening to many people on here who fob off any other brand other than their own.... its best to try out...

OK, I give up. Coilovers...enlighten me?

Personally If your buying the coilovers for your exploits on the track I wouldnt buy HR's due to the lack of adjustability and softness. I chose Koni - fully adjustable.... They are very good IMO.

It'll polish out... (write off opinions)

Some positive camber in that wheel - suggests suspension damage too.

Opinions Needed on my 172 - Im so Fickle!

Right.... The new decals arnt growing on me and I feel 'a little embarrassed' at how it looks! I have already started taking the RENAULTsport decals off, I have taken the rear quarter Pistonheads black logo, and MucOff decals off. But I am leaving the front Michelin and rear Pistonhead.com...
