My Clio averaged around 350-400 on a mixed drive per tank.

Yeah, 160 derv. Not a bad car, very quick in gear, especially after a remap but the ride is very harsh! Not quite up to Audi's quality but cheap to run and decent quality. Certainly better quality than the Cup.

It's always nice to have some refinement, after an old school hatch! I'm liking the torque too, somthing the Cup has none of! Both great cars in their own right but I can understand you growing out of the Cup. Maybe a few light mods will liven up the Audi?! A remap is a must!

Nice car but Audi's are too safe in design, imo. There's nothing exciting about them but good quality machinery!

And what are you telling the OP? I'm saying the opposite, from my experience. In everyday driving, I'd say the Leon is the faster car. Tracks and B-roads, perhaps not. And you will get fun and enjoyment out of a Leon. "that statements just wrong"...I have read you posts and this is clearly...

Disagree. They are more capable than made out on this forum. It's always going to be down to the driver...a well driven Leon will leave a Clio...same rules! Anyway, no point in going down this route. 90% of Clio drivers don't get close to their handling limits so why not get the faster car?

Leon for pace and mod potential. Clio for nimble handling. Any talk of the Leon being a 'straight line car' is bollox! They handle very well, just not as well as the Clio. My bro in law had an LCR and it could toast my Clio! Perhaps not as involving but imperssive all the same. The Leon is...

Not a Works. I just really dislike them visually, I know they are very good cars. I'm pretty sure that I know 6 people who own a Mini, one being a Works and they are all girls. I've driven the 'charged S and was not overly impressed, compared to the Clio anyway.

I'd love to see a vid against standard. The reason...I think the price for the amount of power you gain is very steap but I'm guessing you feel it's more worthwhile when you drive it!

Circa £2K? I'd be interested to know at what price you'd refuse to pay for insurance on a Clio Sport.
