Here we go...
Not sure that's going to stand, on this here forum. 182's are probably the worst of all the sports to make their power and the Ph1 is a fair bit lighter, so I don't think you are correct.
In reality, there ain't going to be enough of a difference to notice, so it comes down to...
Very true but it doesn't mean they couldn't either.
Put it this way, Rossi could make a living in some sort of driving that involes four wheels, F1 or otherwise. And I reckon if he put a year of testing in, he'd be as quick as the slower guys in F1. He is clearly a racing genius and many F1...
Who gives a f**k? The point is, Rossi is an extremely talented driver, on two wheels or four. I'm pretty certain he could make the jump to F1 if he devoted all his time to it. Whether he'd be successful against the current F1 drivers, nobody really knows.
You know that special Civic Type R that costs nigh on 30 grand? 240hp and lots of uprated stuff. It looks amazing and apparently performs amazingly, but at that price...
If there was a Clio equivalent only not at the same price tag, that would be nice. A nice hike in power and some special kit.
You may be right, I wasn't sure if the badge covered both engines.
They're not slow, it's just a gutless engine. My mate had the Corolla 190 and it had nothing until 6800rpm. Sod all torque at any revs.
Your mate must have been giving it some proper stick to blow it up! Are they not quite...
It does, partly. 0-60/100 and in-gear times would be more interesting. Top speed isn't such a big deal but is quite impressive on the V6, by all accounts.
Nice car! The new Focus range looks really good. What kind of MPG does it get? I think I might be tempted by one of these after the derv, unless they bring out a hot diesel by then!
This is funny. On handling, you say that they are both equally rewarding because you know that 1*2's can out handle them in certain scenarios. If you are going on what is more 'rewarding' then both are rewarding on 0-60, top end, anything. It depends what you want and what you get from a car...
