The code was in the service manual! Lol....
In my defence, the service manual wasn't with the rest of the booklets in the wallet in the car, and I've only had it a couple of days!
Today I took the opportunity to give me car a decent clean, as I've had it for nearly a week, and have only really hand washed it upto this point.
The main objective for today was to get rid of the tar spots and get some decent protection down. It needs a full correction detail, but I'll...
Like a muppet, I disconnected my head unit earlier to connect my TunePoint, without giving a 2nd thought to the fact that disconnecting the power would require me to input the security code - something which I don't know!!
How do I find out what the code is please? I can't see anything in my...
There are a few about for £10k, but lots of dogs out there. This needs a little bit of love but it's 95% mint.
Great car, I'm loving it. Looks a lot better now I've given it a half decent clean too.
Cheers Fil
I have that, and I've ordered the two new Victoria Waxes (Chaos and Mayhem) and I'm picking up some Duragloss and Zaino tomorrow to test out too.
Hi Andy,
Sure thing, I'll give you a call tomorrow. Sorry about the confusion, I have been using an additional number recently and my lady friend has been using one, not sure which I gave to you?
I have your PM and number, so I'll give you a call.
Thanks,
Russ.
Very aggressive combo when used together, so stick to the Menz orange pad. Is it the DA suitable version of the 105 you have? They changed the formula quite early one.
It's about the best combo via DA to actually make it do something without vibrating your arm off. Go easy at first though...
I think Polished Bliss sell it all.
This is taken from their advice section on silver cars:
Q. WHAT IS THE BEST SEALANT OR WAX TO USE ON SOLID WHITE AND LIGHT METALLIC/PEARLESCENT COLOURS?
Many people find it difficult to achieve an excellent finish on solid white and light...
G3 is okay for cutting, but doesn't finish down very well.
If you want a single product which finishes down well, then get Menzerna 203S. Megs 105 is another choice, but it cuts 12/10 on the Megs scale, so it can be lethal if you don't know what you're doing.
The Sonus pads are great too...
On silver, sealants work better than waxes generally speaking, as they are far more reflective, something which silver is not.
What's your budget? The Werkstat Acrylic Kit is the ideal choice, but its £55.
Cheers everyone, collect it tomorrow, Werkstat detail Friday, remap... very soon :p
Ordered some RS mats for it, Modus aerial, replacing a piece of marked plastic trim, silvervisions, panel filter and had 2 alloys refurbed by the dealer. Gonna keep this MINT.
Cheers everyone :)
Scutch - I'll probably get the remote box, they are £550 on a Group Buy at the moment, plus it's handy if Renault decide to reflash the ECU if it ever goes in for warranty work.
I've never seen another silver one, but see a couple of LY's around, and wanted something a bit...
