Yeah, hard to get a decent spec too with Recaro's and Cup chassis. It's about 10MPG up on the R26, but I'm prepared to take the hit financially. I'd imagine a Stage 2 R26 would give the 175 remapped a good spanking
MUCH torquier and easier to get going, but I really have to keep an eye on the speedo now as I'm used to working the Clio quite hard.
Better traction and power out of roundabouts etc too - the LSD and Turbo work really well together.
If I miss NA, I'll get a 200... but I don't think I...
I did well with the R27, gave it a once over with a light finishing polish yesterday and it's totally swirl free again! It's mint too, had a new steering wheel, new Recaro and alloy refurb in the past few weeks!
I know :( I'm hoping machine polished a bit of Zaino will give it a nice bit of bling - we'll see! Swirl free heaven though after 3 black cars on the trot!
I did until I drove one! Test drove the DCI175 last Friday and hated it. I'll have to take the financial hit - will be about £100 a month more this way

Copy and Pasted from DW...
Today's mission was to breath a bit of life into this 2001 Octavia vRS. The car is owned by DW's very own Bandit Barron, who I've got to know quite well over the years from selling him a few bits and pieces.
Plan for today was for Dave to clean the car, cook...
Will do mate
The kits from Paints4U are pretty good. I'll take lots of pics. Hopefully the Mirka sanding pads allow less room for error than the Megs pad and paper
Yes, but again I'd want to see previous work
I CAN but I'm not comfortable doing other peoples' cars yet. They need filling, wet sanding flat, then machine polishing, but the wet sanding process needs a fair amount of skill...
I'd say £120 minimum is a fair price for an 'amateur enthusiast', assuming it's a small priced car. Ultimately, paint correction isn't rocket science, any fool can cut the crap out of a panel using FCP and a cutting pad to remove the swirls, but it does take a little bit of skill to use the...
