Bullets to do again now and my engine :o
How ive just done mine last night
opened the vice up so the mount itself is on it flat and the rubber is inbetween the jaws (nothing actually gets clamped up) and t**t it a good few times on the rubber and it'l go through the other side, No burning, presses, clamping in vices is needed, just a...
Sand it off and start again, mask it up french style so the masking tape creates a vortex (does same as 3ms soft edge)
give a few coats of primer but dont prime to the edges of the tape
Remove the mask and flat it all off with 800 paying attention around the edge so you dont have any harsh...
If its making a knocking sound the chances are the CV joints had it :( I got mine repacked and reclipped for £15 at Northeastern tyres no need to get Renault to do it
Its the boot lock, its annoying i wrapped some cloth round it as a temp measure :approve:
Ive got a few dash rattles
nackered dogbone
blowing exhaust
could do with painting the front end
and a good clean
Apart from that its all good, MOT at the end of the month £20 a ticket :rasp:

So my options are to either replace it with a renault standard jobbie again or stick a powerflex in...
15.4 std at the time 182, s**t tyres, popped shock and it had just started to snow :approve:
Must get back up and see what difference my changes have made

TBH mate if theres been valve contact with the pistons i wouldnt refit another belt and start it up again, It will tap its tits off and in time drop the valve which will make it a more expensive repair than you have already!
He didnt bleed the system  Its not a bloody Veedub, You will have an airlock in it, I'm not sure how many there are on the clios but you will need to open them all and close them in a specific order
