cambelt service, a decent ss exhaust and a good full set if tyres is gonna be over a grands worth of work...

any width will improve handeling but try to keep the width the same front and rear or wider on the front.
25mm front and rear, set camber at -2 degrees rear and max negative degrees on the front looks awesome. you will need shims for the rear (or washers if you want to do it pikey) and camber...

you want m12x1.5 then add the the width of the spacer to the length of thread on the standard bolt, the answer will tell you what you need to buy!!!

i would change track rods ect at the same time and think about pressing in some new bearings into the 172 hubs too.
not a ball ache of a job just time consuming and by the time you have spent on hubs and labour if your not doing it yourself then it will...
around £1000 inc spraying...
i think it needs standard bonnet, rear bumper, side shirts, boot and spoiler, mirrors, standard grills and an exhaust
if you can get the standard rs bits in the right colour would be alot cheaper and you may get some money back on ebay for the crap you take off it...
what make springs have you got??
i use fk automotive spacers, venom motorsport are pretty competative with price but width will depend on your taste/how you want to set the car up...

remapping the tce will get you about an extra 25hp which is limited by the injector output as there running close to max on standard output...
adding an exhaust, filter and uprated injectors will help push up the power alittle, then your into fmic and uprated turbo which starts getting more...
lowest aftermarket springs for sport are -40mm i think, unless you want to get custom ones made but then you will need uprated shocks too...
best of getting 2nd hand coilovers if your after going mega low on a budget....
