they are not progresly wound compared to high end springs like eibach/h&r/koni so dont work with standard dampers very well and the price of the spring/damper kit competes with the price of cheap coilovers.
imo i rate a spring/damper kit over the cheap coilovers anyday, the only thing is you...
tracking and wheel balancing would be my first port of call, could even be a buckled wheel!!
then track rod ends ect but the garage you get the tracking done at should be able to tell you if they are shagged or not!!
also check your wheels bolts are tourqued up properly...
8x14 front 9x14 rear get an of sett of about et15, which will give you abit of flexability with spacers and camber set up!!
wind the coilovers right down and get a custom rear spring set up and attack rear window with stickers, done!!
those tyres are not worth anything if they are budgets.
need a refurb too and you dont put those type of wheel weights on alloys ffs!!!
id say £100 tops...
not massivly loud until you decat them.
normal steath sound the same as an oe!!
keep an eye out in the forsale section, some 2nd hand ones about at the min...
decat and put fuel in on overrun via the mapping process.
flames and bangs result as the unburnt fuel ignites in hot exhaust, cool yet a little chavvy :-)
rads can corrode and block internally?? does the coolant tank seem overly hot when the temp goes up and did lots of s**t come out the rad when you flushed it??
if a different rad does not solve it, could be a sender/wiring/sensor fault??
megane engine is a pain to fit due to the head shape and the ecu needs unlocking i think.
most opt for a williams engine or a 1.816v or a clio rs engine but again is not a simple conversion.
you will need complete engine and ancileries, loom, ecu, gearbox,16v engine mounts, 16v drive...
