i would go for 175/50/14 as the wheels are not very wide, then space the wheels out a little, will look loads better.
i can do the front springs cheap for you when youve got them, not got my old home made tool for the torstion bar any more, it wiill be stiff as f**k so might be worth getting...
only ones id get out of that list would be the tarox.
£177 is alot though, nearly twice the price of standard brembos, they will stand up to a fair bit of abuse though.
have you asked brembo if they can do you some high carbons??
cheapeer springs wont be progressivly wound so will be crashy on standard dampers compared to the higher end of the market (h&r/eibach).
if you buy a full kit then they match the spring rate to the shocks so you wont get the car bouncing about as much, the only probs with that is that a decent...
if they re multi drilled then there may be a 4x100 pertrn in there if its just 4 holes then they wont fit without adaptors...
check the off set too as pug/citroen/ford tend to be pretty low compared to renault!!
when you factor in design/development and build costs and paying royalties to other makes to use there parts, the actual overall cost per car leaves little profit in percentage terms...
yet they make 500%+ on some parts..
it doesnt compare to rs clios so dont expect it to, thats why alot on here dont like/get it as they have owned the best modern day hot hatch and looked at one to "save money".
i personally think its a very good warm hatch and needs very little to look/perform better than anything else in its...
