depending where you are i'd go to a specialist or independant guy who uses CLIP, and it will tell you straight away. Seems a little strange the brake switch is causing limp mode.
I can't work out if this guy is just trolling tbh. He had a thread before it was done talking about taking it to a dealer. Everyone gave advice which I assume is why you'd post on a forum, and alas here you go again.
The rotary switch in the middle, that turns the airbag wires needs to stay central. If you turn it you will see the mini circle change. To calibrate with clip, you would replace the sensor, refit the wheel, then rotate the wheel a specific amount while calibrating so it can work out 0 angle
I'm suprise ferrari allow people to acquire panels for the Fxx without owning one. You know how prestigious they are about their cars. Takes away the exclusivity.
didn't you invest in most of his stock mate ;) As if he's building fezza engines now :approve: I would think the demand is slightly more managable than renault stuff.
if it's been regassed and not lasted long then the seals on the system have dried up due to lack of use. Aircon needs to be run to prevent it from requiring fixing.
Have you changes the wheel or is everything standard? The rotary switch which houses all the airbag/cruise wires is more likely to be the cause. I suppose you could install the unit and take it to Renault to calibrate. If it's not the sensor it will be the switch.
The problem is that when they are disturbed and the belts tightened, that can start it off straight away. Wish I had a vid of mine. 10miles after belt change and it was fubar
