My rain sensor attachment keeps coming away and the wipers don't work on auto. I've tried apoxy glue, but that's not working great. I've seen that halfords sell a rear view mirror glue, but there are mixed reviews about it. Any one got any tricks of the trade :)
You can't get rid of ph1 AIDS i've heard. May as well stop fighting it and keep this one ;)
Any major plans Dave? Oh and FYI i've heard genuine williams decals aren't the cheapest :S N2Grafix FTW
try bump starting it first mate. Would save a lot of faffing if it is the battery. It should fire up, but you might have a dodgy TB (sort of a limp mode) due to low voltage if the battery is fubard.
Sorry to say mate, but the mods you've got aren't that desirable. Panels would sell no doubt, but even with a working box you'll be lucky to get anything more than 3K for it. Welcome to modding cars ;)
Why are you thinking of selling up though? Fix it and use it if you have put effort into...
Not sure on the dipstick, but regarding the light, i'd trace the wires back from the light, check connections, and you will locate the switch. Is it a mk2 or 3 yours?
How bad is it? To get the mirror out, you angle the mirror towards the car, stick a screw driver in the gap at the edge, and prise it off. You'll see the way it clips back on after that. It will be on quite tight mind.
lol @ too old at 23. I'm 28 and i've had my 182 5 years now with no intension of selling it. You might be too old for meets now. I felt aincent at the last one :S
The will fit mate as the seats are the same. I can't remember exactly, but I thought the spring rates were the same. If he's taking them off anyway, just put your springs along side to double check sizes.
Obviously not, but 99% of the time, when this issue arrise, the diagnostic kit can't communicate with the ECU due to the immobiliser being active or (and most likely) there is break in the can-bus wiring to the ECU from the UCH, so naturally they assume it's ECU related, change it and ...
6 month bump ;)
You could swap over to 172 hubs, but shaft will need changing too. It's making the track more narrow though, although you could fix that with spacers.
