    Quaife LSD finaly fitted

How often to the quaife units need stripping & rebuilding?

    silenced centre section

Good question, Fitting it certainly increased the volume from having a cat but more in the top end, the idle and cruising volume did not change, however I have never fitted a straight through decat on it so I can't make a good comparison. I will say though that my car is renowned as the quiet...

    Remoulds - opinions

I was using the re-cutting as an example of the durability/size of truck tyres. Its not the process used here, If I understand correctly its an imitation tred literally bonded onto the original casing?

    silenced centre section

K-tec sell a silenced decat in the 2.5" bore. Very effective at muting the sound without killing it completely (still provides top end 'raspyness') & still provides the performance benefits of a decat :)

    Remoulds - opinions

For me tyres are one of those rare items where you get exactly what you pay for, personally I haven't got a problem shelling out on a set of decent branded tires as I know they will be reliable, consistent and if they do develop a fault such as sidewall bulging also covered by a warranty. At the...

anyone know the weight of standard 1*2 front seats1?

Weighed mine at 32.5kg if I remember rightly. Compare that to a 8kg one piece bucket and you've got some serious weight saving!

    Spark Plugs

nope. lol. OEM are an excellent plug anyway. However cheaper alternatives that do exactly the same job can be had ;)

Why you should clean your filter!!

nope, a can will last quite a few times. You just need enough so that the element is covered in a film of spray throughout, not dripping!

Why you should clean your filter!!

Once you've cleaned the filter it needs about 12 hours to dry properly. Then coat it in this stuff, NOT wd40 as its too thin, does not act as a proper retention fluid. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m17b51s1211p0

Renault Clio V6 Driver - video

Lift-of-oversteer is predominately caused by weight transfer. As you let off the throttle the car's balance is shifted forward (due to lack of acc'n & engine braking taking effect). As a consequence the load on the rear wheels is significantly lightened = reduced grip. Think of is as if you were...

    Which seat - choices inside

I run normal seatbelts with my Bimarco without any problem. It depends how high the seat side is - if the belt is held off you then not a good idea. The other thing to consider is the pretensioner. If the belt lies across the two sides of bucket and the pretensioner fires it can inhibit its...
