    slight misshap

Renault certainly wouldn't. They barely do the things that fall under warranty, let alone any extra-circular work!

exhaust wrap bandage? Anyone tried before?

Not a fan of exhaust wrap, seems to me like the perfect wick for a candle, especially when covered in the typical Clio oil leak?

Lovely car, really enjoy reading engleberts reviews of the cars outings!

    Power Steering

I would always be inclined to associate this with faster pickup/throttle response (whatever you want to call it) as gains or no gains the engine requires less effort to rotate the aux assembly setup with less pulleys present, even if they are not a massive drag.

    Detached My Speedo

Negative terminal off the battery for a while then reconnect. Map is on solid memory, you won't loose it unless you reflash it.

    182 Cup/Cup Packed Coilovers

Yup that's with bearings and ABS rings all ready to go. :)

    Handling

Worth every penny though. You have to ask yourself which you would rather; a set of lowering springs, or a fixed damping, height adjustable entry-level coilover kit for £200.00 more, I know which I would choose....

    Rear disc question

The 172 discs have a bearing pressed into them, the discs can be had from GSF etc without the bearing pressed in them IIRC for a little cheaper, but it's really worth buying the OEM units from your local dealership as they have come down in price to just over £100 for a pair, cracking price...

    Twingo RS

chased an instructor driven Twingo around brands hatch in my Clio, straight line I could catch and pass with relative ease, very very planted in the bends though, especially for a standard car, thing was constantly tripod-ing! Looked like great fun tbh!

Lovely mate, she sounds as good as she looks! I was in the great park today too - catching a bit of rare summer sun with beer in hand

What is a Group N remap?

You can sometimes get marginally better results via a rolling road map, however as I do not deal with them at all I can't tell you the other advantages. Whether a RR live map is worth x4 of the price on a lightly modified road car is probably debatable. For heavier tuning starting @ Cams it is...

    Suspension Turrent bolt

There called bolt extractors, they are a reverse threaded screw like tool that winds into the pre drilled hole in the stuck bolt, and then when tight enough will unwind the stuck bolt.

    Clio 182 Trophy Bonnet Stuck

Cable to the release mechanism sounds like it has snapped fella. There was a thread on here where someone had found a way to open it without damaging the front grill etc. Try the search function.

Getting a lot of steering wheel wobble under hard braking!

you can't always 'see' a warp, only needs to be small to give you substantial pedal feedback. You'll also get a wobble on the steering too.

As above standard Renault Ferodo made pads. £45.00 something from the stealers and ample power for day to day use.

    p zero nero tyres

I think they are an excellent option, good in the wet when they have plenty of tread, like soap in the shower when they are running low. Grippy but fast wearing, and took the pain of a track day well too!
