Just wondering where everyone shops online for PC components?
Overclockers is great but I understand, from the forums, that more established members know where to go to get parts cheaper (they tend not to say, seeing as OC is a retailer as well as the forum). Looking around I've seen ebuyer is...
Lol, okay cheese. But, generally, exhausts must be made from a flexible material for a reason?
Not saying it'll affect it in a few months, but further down the line? Vibrations with no damping affecting the structure of the exhaust and, therefore, manifold, etc?
I appreciate the idea and it sits a lot better, but surely the mount is made of rubber for a reason? Isn't effectively removing all elasticity going to cause problems?
It'll be the handbrake isn't working well enough as the offside rear brake isn't operating with enough force.
Probably the caliper needs replacing, mine failed on exactly the same thing.
I'd have thought you'll be relatviely close to the monitor, as David says, so surely there is such a thing as too big a monitor for gaming? 27" will seem pretty big when you're only that distance away from it!
Monitor is pretty much a necessity - my old Acer one was cheap 7 years ago!
I have no qualms building it myself, but don't really have any components (except for perhaps mouse, keyboard, wireless card) that are worth keeping.
Cheers Roy, appreciate the more in depth logic. All too often you'll get a "yeah, looks okay..." and not really know what to expect.
I'll see how much it'll cost to get the components from somewhere like OC or eBuyer and build myself.
I don't use words like 'pwn', so only casual gaming for me... ;)
I do very little gaming on the PC and, whilst I plan to do slightly more, it won't be anything high-end. On a day-to-day basis I want it to do simple stuff, but lots of it at the same time and quickly.
It has a monitor included...
I've been looking around for a half-decent PC, preferably already built and supplied as a system, but wouldn't discount building myself if it was worth it price-wise...
Anyway, I've stumbled across this which seems like a pretty good deal:

I hate being in my car when it's full of crap and dusty - an unfortunate requirement when it's the mrs' daily. Drives much better when all cleaned and all 'avoidable' rattles removed!
I'll have to stick with my shitty SE W910i for another 6 months before moving to iPhone-land. I've looked around at other options which I could get through Orange which would mean I could upgrade sooner, but nothing comes close.
What's happened to the Nokia 'tube'? I think it should be out now...
Carlton Garage in Exmouth, Devon are probably your most local specialist on here mate; at a guess they're around the £350 mark for the change (that might be for the whole service).
Excellent service, too.
You get what you pay for 90% of the time. I'm not saying you can't get a bargain but IMO a car being advertising for, say £2,995 with 40k on the clock and in 'mint' condition won't be as good as the seller insists.
Mine was doing this so I replaced the battery. It still resets on occasion, but is much less frequent than before and I know the UCH is knackered so I attribute it to that now!
It most certainly does I'm afraid. When it hits the car it can leave very small 'divots' in the clearcoat from the impact, and if left on it tends to stain, leaving a poo-shaped mark on the paint. More often than not these will be stuck there until such a time as you can polish them out.
