Well, actually, it looks like the battery has sorted the trip computer reset problem... not reset since last Friday. Not sure why it reset itself on Friday after the battery was fitted though.
However, I'm still having the problem with severely intermittent operation of the wipers, windows...
Re: someph-ing different...........
^Doesn't sound good... I'd get some new lightweight, rare wheels to compensate.
I'm happy with my Greenstuff's although mine doesn't go near a track. Not sure all the hassle is worth it for the rear's though, they're basically for show. But, I understand why...
Well, as per my thread mate - I've just changed the battery and it still does it. :(
As for the locking situation, I've had a variety of odd electrical based goings-ons, but they all sort themselves out when I turn the car off and start her up again.
Tis really annoying me, especially since...
Battery replaced yesterday...
I started the car this morning to a trip computer reset and windscreen wipers not working! Turned off and restarted and was all fine... argh!
I'm wondering if it's just something due to the cold?
Re: someph-ing different...........
My mailage came way after my enquiry - will sort it on payday if that's alright!?! Hopefully Orange have forgotten to take my DD this week...
Lookin' pretty in the mag - no ***** in your game-face though.
Re: someph-ing different...........
Looks sweet dude, not too sure about Charlie's manifold plate thingy, maybe better hammerited black as well? Any luck on the cover price?
Aye the battery will be getting replaced soon, just wondering whether to budget for lots of expensive work to find a random electrical problem! Wouldn't surprise me if water was getting into the loom somewhere...
The only time it's really worth paying out to get a decent one is when you go for quite long lengths. I bought a cheap 10m HDMI cable and it made the DVD unwatchable!
I think my battery's on the way out, as the trip computer resets itself each time I start the car up (apparently the first sign?...).
Recently, I've had:
(Earlier this week) The indicators didn't work. I then turned the lights on and off and the indicators starting working and have been...
The car's off to Carlton tomorrow to get it checked anyway, but thought I'd see i I could get a heads-up first...
On reversing down my parents' drive a week or so ago, I heard quite a loud clunk. I put it down to going over a drain at the time, but ever since it feels like the tracking is out...
If you're set on getting a RenaultSport then I'd say see how much Trophy's are and get the money for one of those, but £7k-ish can buy a lot of car in the current climate - maybe have a look further afield?
Christ, people even get flamed on here for asking for a good, cheap mobile phone insurer!
The best bet is to check to home contents insurance mate, sometimes you can pay a small amount extra to include valuables outside the home. I would check it stipulates that phones are included, however.
My favourite phone was a Sony one, before them and Ericsson merged. It was grey, long and thin and had a clickable scroll wheel on the side - well ahead of it's time. :)
My worst phone... anyone I've had for the last couple years. I keep sticking with Sony Ericsson's and the software is just...
