I don't know specific details of what I'm after, which is why I'd want someone to list a fairly decent spec for the money. I've had a look at overclockers but I don't know whether, for example, it's worth paying an extra £50 for upgrade from Dual Core 2GHz to 2.4GHz.
As above, stunning...
I assume he'll hide it in the business finances somewhere, so it won't make a huge amount of difference if he has to pay £200 or £600 - may as well get Renault prices for Trophy wheels.
Just a bit of a time-wasting exercise for any PC buffs that fancy spending a few minutes...
After Xmas I'll be getting a new PC and I was considering a laptop for a while before realising that they're a comparative rip-off. So, with a budget of £700 give or take, can someone put together a PC...
A foot deep? Sod that, I'd find another route or just go home!
Some people have ridded headlights of condensation by sticking a hairdryer into the back of the units.
Nice one son, I hear a night out is a bit expensive!
So, is it because you'd be based in Abu Dhabi that puts you off, or would you still be loathed to go if you were actually based in Dubai?
I think S25 CUP was ukaskew's (Chris) on here - don't think it was sold to a CS member, though.
Lovely example of a well looked after Cup, is she still nice and standard?
You mock, but they might just work on a Clio... pretty rare, a bit controversial and to finish it off you could always change the colour to a light charcoal kind of colour, say, anthracite?
It's nice and all that mate, but not exactly original...
This was mine back in 1973 when I'd just bought it; got bored and put it back to standard in the summer of '86.
You only had to ask if you wanted to copy some of the ideas.
:)
How dare you create a topic that actually encourages and provokes thought and an opinion, I feel the need to say something derogatory, misspell it, stick in a load of pointless acronyms (CS originated, obviously) and start a forum-ruck.
On the other hand, imitation is flattery but it rarely...
It's probably one of the most covered topics on here mate, have a lil' search around.
I've never been a huge fan of the Type R looks, so would always pick the Clio but, assuming that their pace is the same (which is basically is) the Civic is probably the better built of the two and a nicer...
Lol, I've waved at a few 'new' RS' recently and got no response!
It's an '03, but has got a private plate - C2EBO - on it, so it fairly noticable once you're looking for it.
There's a few around, seem to be quite a few new members around, but not seen any on the roads yet - sorry Elliott, I meant to reply to your PM but never did!
Definitely get it sorted mate. A bit stupid of them to say "we can spray it but you'll notice...", because if you can notice then you'll just have to demand for it to be done again. If they use a good enough bodyshop then the work will be seamless.
Ah okay mate, fair enough. I thought you meant that you hadn't reported it, but had told your cop mate who'd 'sort it' ;)
I'd still recommend making it formal though, creating a paper trail is alwayd advisable.
