My hero. Drives how you should drive but has the appropriate sympathy, and no doubt its well looked after.
Mines 50k old and it pulls like a train. Doesn't get ragged within an inch of its life just driving to the shops and back......
Dave lad, im impressed you managed it on the driveway! I changed Clares one on a ramp and that was a pig!
Weighs a sodding ton....and i didn't even take the rear bumper off. Needed a gearbox cradle jack just to support the rear beam!
Nice buy Steve.....shame we couldn't get you into that 135R but hey ho!
Im sure you'll have a ball with the VX....even if its a Lotus Lite....;)
I'll await the angry VX owner comments....:rasp:;)
Mines only ever been run on V-Power/Optimax in the 3 years i've had it, apart from the odd tank of 95Ron up in deepest Scotland where its harder to find.
I'd say its one of the main reasons why the engine in mine is so sweet.
Mine came with a spare Turini but it doesn't properly fit in the well and you can't secure it either so it came straight out.
The tyre foam is useless if, like most people, you try and fill the tyre whilst the weight of the car is on the punctured tyre.
Most people think they don't need to...
What are you like!!?
She's coming along now eh Nick? Once the turini's are on and its a bit quicker, it'll be nearly as good as mine.....but only nearly!:rasp: ;)
Is that enthusiast? If so thats the best misspelt version i've ever seen....honestly!;)
On topic, i agree with the summary. I could never own a FF now i've had a Cup...not focused enough IMO.
No the Vee is muscular...its not lardy.
The MK2 isn't a beefcake because it didn't need to be. All these EU crash test requirements have made the MK3 what it is....tall and heavy.
Compare the old shape Corsa with the new shape one.....same situation, as with the Mini.
Thats an impressive amount of drivel in one post.
I don't think i've ever felt like i was going to "fall off the road at any time" when driving at considerable motorway speed. :S
Do you guys get many people telling you that you take yourselves too seriously?
Its the kinda car that makes you grin.....:D ...for that i really like it!
Ahhh ok. Well in this case it seems to be coming from a number of bolts so its goona be an inlet manifold off job.
So just an engine sealant? Any brand you can recommend?
Its definitely coming from the cam cover bolts, so would a normal gasket sealant do the job of sealing them?
Oh and its not on my car....its Clare's 182....
