Sounds about right for Renault. The immobiliser is 100% in the UCH unit though. Whether or not its called decoder or immobilier ring, it basically sends the key code to the UCH.
back to front mate. Immobiliser is in the UCH, decoder ring surrounds the barrel. Decoder sends the info from the key to the UCH which emits a code to the ECU to fire.
What do you mean mate? There is trophy suspension for 182's. It's on the 182 trophy. It will only fit on the trophy itself and the 182 with cup packs. ie. you'll need 60mm bolt spacings on the hub.
I run these for my track wheels, but without spacers and i'm sure they rub while going straight :S. Not sure if I need spacers on. Might be the fat r888's maybe. I'm only on prolines too. Nice wheels though.
Don't forget to get them PC'd orange Mark ;)
lol @ Chris.
Nice work as always. love the false floor mate. Wheel wise, I thought you'd decided on 16's due to cooling? Not sure if you'll get away with using an offset of 20 unless you roll the arches out. Especially as i'd imagine you've dropped it a few cm on the KW.
as longs as the valves don't drop you'll be ok, but it's advisable to get it sorted asap. It's more of a problem with aftermarket cams where lift etc is greater, so there is a risk of valves hitting pistons.
If they are made by the guy on here mate they aren't. He made a version of them, but they're different. Look up cup racers on google. They're completely different.
