That's a lot of money for a bulb and a lot to install. Lights up the road nicely though mate.
Vinny, what spoiler do you have fitted? where did you get it from and how much?
I wouldn't replace the fog lamp. I don't see why people do this, yes you would get a better feed of air but you're doing away with a fog lamp. They are there for a reason, why take it out and put a gaping pipe there. Keep the fog lights and just put the air feed down by the arch/where the...
So the guy/gal doesn't come on here? I would of thought they did considering they had k-tec plastered over it...
They probably work @ that renault dealer.
I'll take some better pictures of the exhaust when I clean the car as it's dirtier than your mother at the moment! Joking, obviously...
It's not very big and looks pretty standard if you came behind me not knowing clio sports hide the exhaust under the bumper, if that makes sense. Sounds...
Buy three and triple the bhp gains.
Infact have them plastered all over your engine bay. Plug them into your mains sockets at home too and get some massive b*****d extension leads to your car.
Think of the bhp you could be getting.
Aren't these mega expensive if they get smashed or f**k up? I've seen a picture on here of a MK1 172 and someone has them on theirs. Look pretty cool though, wouldn't mind a pair myself but without the cost.
About £850-900. Not sure to be exact. Cam's are costing the most but should see a big improvement.
I do recommend visiting GDI/AWT if you have not already done this or are thinking about having that kind of work done. Their service is second to none. They drove me and a friend into Cambridge...
I'm from Bridgnorth but I was getting my exhaust done @ Powerflow (Mr Tyre) in Wolves today. I went to a Renault garage in Wolves and Willenhall (Autoworld) to get the black exhaust trim from a 182 but neither had them in stock...
Had my exhaust done today, car is sounding like a monster.
Had the following mod's done so far...
(Car was originally running at 166bhp)
Inlet Manifold work @ GDI
De-cat (silenced)
SMT6 Ecu @ GDI
Here's the results... (rr-1.jpg)
Max Power: 182bhp
Max Torque: 173 lb.ft
That was with the...
Anyone know where I can get the exhaust trim off a 182? black plastic whatchamacallit, i've had my exhaust done today but need the trim...went to renault and they want £16 for it ex Vat and it's out of stock in 3 local garages to me...
Any type of Dual Action/Orbital polisher or a rotary polisher can burn paint work but as you say it's got to have a compound or a pad with a very very fine grit to do this. Put an Orbital Sander on your front quarter panel and go at it with 80g paper. You're going to rip the paint straight off...
Isn't it allowing you to listen to the rattle via CD so you recognise it, then it tells you where the problem is and you can fix it yourself. I think it's to stop people checking for rattles @ 70+mph and taking their "full concentration" off the road.
I maybe wrong...:rasp:
I've left the two pipes connected to the right hand side. I've changed it around now because I bought the red hill power bend with it to and I decided to see what it looked like with the stock one. Put the red one on now and used the stock straps to hold it in place.
I'm going to ask them to try feeding a pipe off the one back box to another kind of 'dead' tailpipe just behind the bumper to solve problem with spare wheel tire well. I'll probably go for 3-3.5".
Anyone? I've checked and everything seems to be connected correctly.:dapprove:
